Liverpool faces setback as Maghnes Akliouche agrees to join PSG

Liverpool's interest in AS Monaco forward Maghnes Akliouche has been thwarted as he has reportedly agreed to a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. The move came as Liverpool looks to strengthen its attacking options. PSG is expected to finalize the deal once Kang-in Lee’s transfer to Atletico Madrid concludes. With Akliouche's departure from the list of targets, Liverpool is shifting focus to RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande, having previously submitted a €100 million bid that was rejected. A revised offer is anticipated in hopes of signing Diomande, who has gained attention for his performances during the FIFA World Cup.
