Liverpool intensifies efforts to sign Yankuba Minteh from Brighton

Liverpool is reportedly accelerating negotiations to sign Yankuba Minteh from Brighton as the transfer window approaches its deadline. Journalist David Lynch discussed on the Anfield Index podcast that Liverpool has made bids of £50 million and £60 million, while Brighton holds out for around £70 million. Progress in talks suggests Liverpool is aggressively pursuing the winger, identified as a fitting addition to manager Andoni Iraola's squad. However, Minteh is currently dealing with an injury that will keep him unavailable for a couple of months. Despite some skepticism from fans, Lynch believes Minteh has the potential to surprise supporters once he joins Liverpool.
