Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola eyes Yankuba Minteh for January transfer window

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has received internal clearance to pursue a right-wing signing during the upcoming January transfer window. The club currently lacks a natural specialist in that position following the departure of Mohamed Salah. Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler indicated that Yankuba Minteh could be permitted to leave the club in the new year as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury. Liverpool previously monitored several attackers during the summer but opted not to meet Brighton's valuation for Minteh.
