Liverpool prepares for contract renewals of Alisson and Van Dijk

Liverpool is addressing contract situations for two key players, Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk, who are set to become free agents at the end of the 2026/27 season. Alisson's contract was extended last summer despite interest from Juventus, while Van Dijk continues to be linked with Real Madrid and Juventus. The reappointment of Julian Ward as sporting director is viewed positively for negotiations, drawing on his past success with contract renewals, including Mohamed Salah's extension. Ward is now expected to prioritize discussions with both Alisson and Van Dijk to secure their futures at Anfield.
