Liverpool pursues Raul Asencio as Real Madrid considers exits

Summary

Liverpool is reportedly exploring a move for Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio as the summer transfer window progresses. Real's head coach Jose Mourinho has indicated that several players will be exiting the club, with Asencio potentially among them after being linked to Marseille. However, Asencio is reportedly inclined to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place under Mourinho. The player's decision not to entertain offers poses a challenge for Liverpool, which views Asencio as a viable option to bolster their defensive lineup.
