Liverpool targets Aston Villa midfielder Johan Manzambi amid strong performances

Summary

Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Johan Manzambi, following his impressive performances since joining the team. Manzambi, who cost Villa £59.5 million from Freiburg, scored in his first Premier League start and was named player of the match in a recent Champions League win against Fenerbahce. His success has drawn attention, especially with speculation around Alexis Mac Allister's potential exit from Liverpool. Villa manager Unai Emery aims to retain Manzambi, asserting that the club does not need to sell after just one season and framing Champions League football as an appealing factor for the young midfielder.
