Liverpool targets Ousmane Diomande after Nottingham Forest talks collapse

Liverpool may pursue Ousmane Diomande with Nottingham Forest's negotiations with Sporting Lisbon falling through. The central defender, valued at £34.2 million, was previously scouted by Liverpool, who are looking to strengthen their defense amid ongoing injury issues. Reports indicate that the player’s ball-playing skills are attractive, despite concerns over his defensive metrics. Following Nottingham's stalled interest, Liverpool could see a market opportunity for Diomande this summer as they also negotiate for other players.
