Livius Guellmeister scores four goals as Milan defeats Airport in soccer

German exchange student Livius Guellmeister tallied four goals in his Milan High School debut during a 9-1 soccer victory over Airport on Monday, August 31. Milan teammates Robert Gill, Wyatt Hurd, Tanner Lambers, and Andrew Cruz also added goals in the win. Airport briefly led the match after Adam Ortega scored within the first 30 seconds of play. Elsewhere in the Monroe County region, Carson Welker recorded three goals and an assist for SMCC in a 7-0 victory against Flat Rock. Nathan Seisdedos-Henninger netted two goals for New Boston Huron during a 7-0 win over Jefferson-Erie Mason, while Trey Heaton opened his junior season with a hat trick for State Line Christian in an 8-0 result against Pittsford Freedom Christian. In volleyball, Erie Mason recorded a four-set victory over Summerfield led by Addie Homrich’s 13 kills.
