L'Jarius Sneed faces injury uncertainty before Chiefs home opener against Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs defensive back L'Jarius Sneed remains on the injury report ahead of the team's season opener against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14. Sneed experienced a downgrade to limited participation in practice on Saturday due to a knee injury. The team did not assign an official game status designation, suggesting he is expected to play on Monday Night Football. If Sneed is unable to participate, veteran defensive back Kristian Fulton is slated to take his place in the secondary. Steve Spagnuolo will lead the defensive unit as they prepare for the rivalry contest. The absence of an official game designation typically indicates that the coaching staff anticipates a player will be available for the matchup.
