On Forbidden Door weekend, it’s fitting for WWE, NXT, and AAA to get in on the act as well. Lola Vice will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against La Hiedra on Saturday night’s episode of AAA Lucha Libre (June 27, 2026) taped from Mérida, Mexico. The feud between Lola and Hiedra is hot. It started over the AAA mixed tag titles and Mr. Iguana. When Hiedra and Mr. Iguana lost the belts, she dumped her partner. Lola picked up the pieces flirting with Mr. Iguana to be her teammate. They went on to win the gold. Hiedra is jealous of Lola’s success, and now is her chance to take the NXT prize from her enemy. The show also features the Psycho Circus confronting Pagano about the mysterious backstage attacks. Last we saw this telenovela, Psycho Clown blamed Pagano when they lost the AAA tag titles to the War Raiders. Pagano had enough of the accusations, in particular about the Psycho Circus mystery, so he walked out on Psycho. The War Raiders added insult to injury by attacking Psycho. Pagano decided not to make the save, and he kept walking. In addition, Galeno takes a step up in competition to wrestle Mecha Wolf. Galeno has been feasting on jamon-and-eggers lately in an effort to flex on the giant Omos. Mecha Wolf is a serious test in the ring.
