The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired pitcher Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for outfielder Zyhir Hope and two right-handed pitchers. Skubal, who recently celebrated his 1,000th career strikeout, is tentatively scheduled to start on August 5 against the Chicago Cubs. If that schedule holds, he could make his home debut at Dodger Stadium on August 12 against the Kansas City Royals.
