Los Angeles Lakers hire Eric Amsler as an assistant general manager

The Los Angeles Lakers have hired Eric Amsler as an assistant general manager. Amsler joins the organization after spending more than 22 years with the Miami Heat, where he most recently served as the vice president of player personnel. His tenure in Miami included various roles in scouting, G League operations, and personnel management, starting from his time as an intern. In his new position with the Los Angeles Lakers, Amsler will work under president Rob Pelinka. He joins Rohan Ramadas as one of the team's current assistant general managers. The front office move comes as the team organizes its leadership structure for the upcoming season.
