Los Angeles Rams reacquire receiver Tutu Atwell from Miami Dolphins

The Los Angeles Rams have reacquired wide receiver Tutu Atwell from the Miami Dolphins in a trade finalized shortly before NFL roster cutdowns. Los Angeles sent running back Jarquez Hunter to Miami to secure the veteran receiver. Atwell returns to the Rams' offense, where he previously spent his first five seasons and recorded 105 catches for 1,535 yards. The team sought a proven option for its wide receiver rotation as they prepare for the upcoming season. Despite limited playing time last year, the Rams brought back the receiver for his knowledge of their scheme and his history with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Atwell will wear jersey No. 8 upon his return to the roster.
