Los Angeles Rams sign linebacker Jamie Sheriff to practice squad

The Los Angeles Rams added linebacker Jamie Sheriff to their practice squad on Tuesday. The move followed the assembly of the team's initial practice roster on Monday. Sheriff, who went undrafted out of South Alabama in 2024, joins the organization after being waived by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He previously spent time on practice squads with the Carolina Panthers and the Seahawks. Across his professional career, the linebacker has appeared in one game for Carolina and recorded one tackle while with Seattle in 2025. The transition follows a period where Sheriff split time between inside and outside linebacker positions during his stints with other teams. He joins a Rams linebacker room that recently added undrafted free agent Wesley Bailey to the active 53-man roster.
