Lotito plans to retain ownership of Lazio and Reggina while changing laws

Claudio Lotito, owner of Lazio and recently acquired Reggina, intends to maintain dual ownership amid fan opposition and regulatory challenges. He aims to amend Italian laws that currently prohibit such ownership, particularly as Reggina plans to compete in Serie D. Lotito previously owned Lazio and Salernitana simultaneously but had to choose between them upon promotion. He believes the former rules on multi-club ownership should be reinstated to benefit football in Italy.
