Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns face Southern Miss in Week 8 college football matchup

Louisiana football (5-2, 2-1 SBC) travels to Southern Mississippi (1-5, 0-2 SBC) for a Week 8 college football game on October 24 at 4 p.m. CT. Louisiana looks to build on their recent 33-6 victory over Troy, while Southern Miss seeks their first Sun Belt Conference win after two consecutive losses. The matchup holds significance as Louisiana aims to avenge last season's 22-10 defeat to the Golden Eagles during homecoming. Quarterback Lunch Winfield will lead the Cajuns, while Southern Miss will rely on Landry Lyddy for a strong performance during their own homecoming game.
