Louisiana regent proposes Tech, ULL, ULM drop to lower football tier

A Louisiana Board of Regents member has suggested that Louisiana Tech, ULL, and ULM move down to the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) due to significant financial deficits. During a recent hearing, regent Wilbert Pryor highlighted losses of $20 million at ULL, $17 million at Tech, and $10 million at ULM, expressing concerns over sustainability in their current FBS status.
