Former LSU forward Amiya Joyner has committed to the Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team. Joyner, a 6-foot-2 player, averaged 9.2 points and 7.5 rebounds last season with LSU. Following a ruling that temporarily altered NCAA transfer regulations, she entered the transfer portal on August 20 after joining a Louisiana lawsuit related to her eligibility. Joyner is presently eligible for the 2026-27 season as confirmed by her agent. A final hearing for her case is scheduled for September 4.
