LSU baseball places 14 players on MLB draft top 250 big board

The LSU Tigers have 14 players and commits listed in Major League Baseball's top 250 draft big board released ahead of the draft on July 11 and July 12. Key players include outfielder Derek Curiel at No. 12 and right-handed pitcher Jensen Hirschkorn at No. 56. Coach Jay Johnson has been successful in recruiting talent, but the upcoming draft presents the risk of losing top prospects. Several high school athletes on the list, like Curiel and others, could be high draft picks, potentially affecting LSU's roster for next season.
