LSU cancels home-and-home series with Arizona State for 2029-30

LSU football has canceled a scheduled home-and-home series with Arizona State for the 2029 and 2030 seasons. This decision was mutual, and no cancellation fee will be incurred by either program. The cancellation follows LSU's addition of Tulane to its 2030 schedule. The SEC's announcement of a nine-game conference schedule has prompted many schools to revisit their future matchups, and LSU is now required to fulfill at least one game against a Power Four opponent, but the long-term status of this rule is uncertain.
