LSU soccer concludes non-conference schedule with split against Baylor and Miami

LSU soccer finished its non-conference season after playing two matches over the past four days. The Tigers fell 2-0 to number 22 Baylor at home on Thursday despite outshooting the visitors 11-9. On Sunday, the team rebounded with a 3-2 victory at Miami (OH). In that match, Berglind Hlynsdottir and Ava Galligan scored in the first half before Ava Amsden added a penalty kick to secure the win. The Tigers conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 2-5-1 record. The team now turns its attention to the start of conference play, which begins at the LSU Soccer Complex on September 11.
