LSU women's soccer enters the 2026 season ranked 16th in the United Soccer Coaches preseason top 25, marking the first time in program history the team has achieved a ranking in this major poll. The Tigers were also ranked in some polls at the end of the 2025 season. SEC coaches project LSU to finish fourth in the conference behind Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Georgia. However, LSU is three spots ahead of Georgia in the national coaches' poll. The Tigers will face Alabama in an exhibition match on August 5 at 7:00 PM at the LSU Soccer Stadium, before starting their regular season against Wake Forest on August 12.
