LSU volleyball starts season with two wins at home

The LSU volleyball team achieved a 3-1 victory against Incarnate Word on Saturday night, marking its first perfect opening weekend since 2017. The Tigers won the first set 25-20, lost the second set 27-25, then controlled the match by dominating the third set 25-11 and closing out the fourth set 25-19. Jurnee Robinson led the team with 22 kills and had a double-double, while setter Takyla Brown also recorded a double-double with 43 assists. LSU will next compete in the SEC/Big 10 Challenge in Ann Arbor, Michigan, playing Michigan State and Michigan on September 1 and 2, respectively.
