LSU women's basketball loses recruit Madi Mignery to Florida

LSU women's basketball has lost a key recruit, Madi Mignery, to SEC rival Florida. Mignery, a six-foot forward from Sarasota, FL, committed to the Gators after considering LSU and Stanford. She visited Baton Rouge the week prior and spent time with head coach Kim Mulkey. Mignery ranks as the No. 25 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class and is the No. 2 player from Florida. Despite this setback, LSU remains involved with three other top-25 recruits in the same class, continuing their pursuit of talent.
