LSU's Sam Leavitt shines while managing injury against Mississippi State

LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt delivered an impressive performance against Mississippi State on October 17, contributing to a 31-0 victory. Leavitt completed 82% of his passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns, despite dealing with a lingering injury throughout the game. Head coach Lane Kiffin indicated that the injury limited Leavitt's mobility, prompting the coaching staff to adjust their game plan accordingly. Leavitt's ability to effectively protect the ball and make accurate throws highlighted his resilience in the face of adversity. The win keeps LSU competitive as they navigate the remainder of the season with Leavitt at the helm.
