LSWA announces 2026 Class 2A All-State baseball and softball teams

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association revealed its Class 2A All-State baseball and softball teams on June 4, 2026. Ridge Coats of Ouachita Christian was named the Most Outstanding Player in baseball, contributing to his team's championship with a.391 batting average, 11 home runs, and 55 RBIs. The All-State selections include standout players like Kade Luker, the 2026 Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year, and Kinley Cox from Oak Grove, who had an impressive season with a 13-5 record and 1.46 ERA. Numerous athletes were also recognized as honorable mentions in both sports, indicating a strong talent pool in Northeast Louisiana.
