Lu Dort traded to Atlanta in three-team deal with Oklahoma City, Dallas

Lu Dort has been traded to the Atlanta Hawks from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a three-team deal also involving the Dallas Mavericks. The Thunder receive three future second-round picks in exchange for Dort, who was considered a fan favorite in Oklahoma City. Atlanta enhances its defense with Dort, an All-Defensive Team player, and adds Ryan Nembhard as a backup. The Mavericks acquired Zaccharie Risacher from Atlanta as part of the trade. This move comes as Oklahoma City aims to manage its salary cap and avoid hitting the second apron of the luxury tax.
