Training under a pair of legends in Pedro Rizzo and Andre Pederneiras, Fernando definitely has plenty of experience to draw upon even though it was his octagon debut. Fernando showed patience and precision as he blasted Tobias with a variety of strikes including a nasty jab that earned him a knockdown. Finally in the third round, Fernando had Tobias guessing with his every move and that’s when he unleashed a devastating knee up the middle that blasted his fellow Brazilian in the body. Tobias has a delayed reaction but he soon grimaced in pain before crumbling to the canvas where the referee rushed in to stop the fight.
