Luis Campusano hits walk-off home run to help Padres defeat Yankees

Luis Campusano hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead the San Diego Padres to a 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees on Friday at Petco Park. The Padres trailed 2-1 after the top of the 10th when Spencer Jones drove in a run, but Campusano responded with a home run on the first pitch he faced. Walker Buehler pitched five efficient innings for San Diego, allowing only one run on a solo home run by Ben Rice. Campusano also recorded two defensive stops by throwing out would-be base stealers throughout the game. The Padres and Yankees are scheduled to meet for the second game of their three-game series today at 4:15 p.m. PT.
