Luis Castillo struggles as White Sox lose to Astros

The Chicago White Sox fell 6-2 to the Houston Astros on Thursday at Daikin Park, dropping three of four games in the series. Starting pitcher Luis Castillo allowed six runs on six hits over four innings of work. After the White Sox tied the game in the second inning on singles from Jake Rogers and Sam Antonacci, the Astros pulled ahead with a four-run third inning keyed by a Daulton Varsho two-run triple. Chicago managed only one hit after the second inning against Houston starter Hunter Brown. Despite the loss, the White Sox remain three games ahead of the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Central standings.
