Hernandez stepped in on two days’ notice to replace Mickey Gall to face Sedriques Dumas in the featured bout of UFC Vegas 121. In the highly-anticipated bout that matched up a Miami-Dade sheriff and a fighter who has had lots of run-ins with the law. Less than a minute into the fight, and after Hernandez had Dumas badly hurt with a punch, Hernandez got the tap and his first UFC win. Check out the finish below. Hernandez earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series less than two weeks ago and already has his octagon tenure off to the races. “The Stache” moved to 9-0 will all finishes in his pro MMA career. With the loss, Dumas is winless in his past five and is still without a victory in over two years.
