Packers linebacker Lukas Van Ness received a $17,911 fine for a hit on quarterback Carson Wentz during the week one game against the Vikings. Although Van Ness also made contact with Kyler Murray, who suffered a concussion from a separate blow, he was not fined for that incident. The NFL indicated that Javon Bullard was penalized for the hit on Murray. After undergoing concussion protocol this week, Van Ness has been cleared to play against the Jets on Sunday.
