Luton Town signs midfielder Tudor Mendel on loan from Ipswich Town

Luton Town has secured the services of 21-year-old midfielder Tudor Mendel on a loan deal from Ipswich Town. The move keeps the midfielder at the club until January, though manager Jack Wilshere indicated the loan period may be extended if the arrangement proves successful. Mendel, a former Chelsea youth product who also spent time with the Anderlecht second team, joined Ipswich in 2024. He recently made his senior debut for the club as a substitute during a League Cup victory against Leicester City.
