Mackenzie Martin joins French club Beziers until 2029

Wales back-row forward Mackenzie Martin has signed with French second-tier side Beziers until the end of the 2028-29 season. Martin, 22, was a free agent after his loan at Dragons from Cardiff ended. He has made five appearances for Wales but faced challenges at Cardiff and an injury-laden 2025-26 season at Dragons. This move may affect his eligibility for future Wales selections, depending on contract offers from Welsh teams. Beziers recently finished 12th out of 16 in French ProD2 last season.
