Madison Arnold brings Miss Rodeo South Dakota title to Mitchell

Madison Arnold, a native of Mitchell, was crowned Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2026 on July 10, marking the first time in nearly 50 years a Mitchell resident has held the title. She follows in the footsteps of Jerry Luckett, who won the crown in 1975. Arnold’s deep ties to the rodeo community and her educational background in biology and marine biology contribute to her role as an ambassador for rodeo and agriculture. She will soon pass on her title at the Days of '76 celebration and continues to serve her community as an EMT while fulfilling her duties as Miss Rodeo South Dakota.
