Magic coach Sean Sweeney starts building coaching staff in Orlando

New Magic coach Sean Sweeney begins assembling his coaching staff in Orlando as confirmed by league sources. Sweeney is adding DJ Bakker, Mfon Udofia, and Riley Crean as assistant coaches. Bakker, formerly with the Hornets and a G League head coach, shares a past with Sweeney from their time with the Pistons. Udofia brings experience from coaching the Long Island Nets and international experience with Nigeria. Crean previously served as head video coordinator for the Mavericks, having worked closely with Sweeney in Dallas. The staff additions will support Sweeney as he takes on his first role as an NBA head coach.
