Magic hire Josh Broghamer as assistant coach from Mavericks

The Orlando Magic have announced the hiring of Josh Broghamer, an assistant coach from the Dallas Mavericks, to join Sean Sweeney's staff. Broghamer was primarily responsible for player development during his three seasons with Dallas under Jason Kidd. He is the second Mavs assistant to join the Magic, following Popeye Jones, who was also with the Mavericks last season. The Magic recently finished with a 45-37 record, reaching the playoffs, while the Mavericks struggled with a 26-56 finish. Broghamer has previous coaching experience, having worked under four head coaches during his tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers before his time in Dallas.
