Forward Mahamadou Sangaré has departed Manchester City to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah on a permanent transfer. The 19-year-old French player signed a three-year deal with the club for an undisclosed fee. Sangaré joined Manchester City from Paris Saint-Germain just over a year ago but failed to make a first-team appearance for the club. During his time in England, he recorded 15 goals in 30 appearances for the academy side, including a hat-trick in the UEFA Youth League against AS Monaco. While media speculation previously suggested a potential loan move back to Ligue 1, the player opted for a permanent transfer to the Middle East. Sangaré originally chose to move to the Premier League instead of signing his first professional contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
