Mainz struggles after 4-1 defeat to SV Elversberg in Bundesliga

Mainz 05 experienced a disappointing 4-1 loss to SV Elversberg on October 30, marking their third defeat in a row. Head coach Urs Fischer expressed frustration with the team's first-half performance, which he deemed unworthy of the Bundesliga. Elversberg capitalized on Mainz's defensive errors, leading 3-0 at halftime. After the match, players like Robin Zentner criticized the team's lack of confidence and physicality. With Bayern Munich next up, questions remain about Mainz's ability to rebound from this poor stretch.
