Major League Wrestling releases the full 2026 Opera Cup tournament bracket

It is tournament season in Major League Wrestling. MLW revealed the bracket for the annual Opera Cup. Sixteen wrestlers enter the competition. One man is left standing in the end to raise the prestigious trophy. Matt Riddle, Mistico, and Austin Aries are the favorites. The Opera Cup 2026 bracket includes: Matt Riddle vs. Mark Coffey Ikuro Kwon vs. Andrew Everett Big Damo vs. Wolfgang Oddyssey vs. Okumura Austin Aries vs. Tracy Williams Mistico vs. Trevor Lee LaBron Kozone vs. Joe Coffey Diego Hill vs. Anthony Greene The brackets for the 2026 Opera Cup are SET! Austin Aries is the current MLW national openweight champion. Mistico is a former MLW world middleweight champion, and the luchador is the reigning back-to-back Opera Cup winner. Riddle should be able to advance to the finals unless screwy interference takes place, perhaps from the Contra Unit. Aries and Mistico would meet in the quarterfinals. Mistico bounced Aries out last year in the semifinals. For the first round, I’ve got my eye on the big boy pod. Dig Damo (aka Killian Dain in WWE) and Wolfgang (member of Gallus in NXT) will let the fists fly pounding meat. The winner could face an even bigger man in Oddyssey (aka Odyssey Jones in WWE) for a quarterfinal matchup. Oddyssey tips the scales at over 400 pounds. He will be a handful for every opponent in the tournament. For the underdog to win it all, I have my eye on LaBron Kozone. The MLW rookie has the power to put down any man. A Cinderella run could be in his future. Past Opera Cup winners in MLW include Davey Boy Smith Jr. (2019, 2023), Tom Lawlor (2020), Davey Richards (2021), and Mistico (2024, 2025). The Opera Cup kicks off on the next episode of MLW Fusion airing Saturday, September 12.
