Wide receiver Malachi Garlington has committed to Oregon after flipping from Washington State. The 6-foot-3 player from Happy Valley made the switch shortly after his official visit to Eugene and has been an Oregon fan since childhood. Garlington initially committed to Washington State for four days before receiving an offer from Oregon, where he impressed wide receivers coach Ross Douglas during a camp. He recorded 910 yards and 20 touchdowns last season and is currently ranked as the No. 4 player in Oregon, according to Rivals.
