Man Utd release Jadon Sancho as Premier League clubs publish retained lists

Manchester United announced the release of Jadon Sancho as part of the Premier League retained lists published on June 10, 2026. Sancho's contract is set to expire at the end of this month, marking the conclusion of his troubled tenure at Old Trafford that started with a £73 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, where he won the UEFA Europa League. Alongside Sancho, United also let go of Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, and several academy players, while offering a contract to Dermot Mee. Other clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea have also seen player departures published in the list.
