Manchester City agrees to sign Gerónimo Rulli from Marseille

Manchester City has reached an agreement with Olympique de Marseille for the transfer of Gerónimo Rulli. The 34-year-old Argentine goalkeeper will serve as an understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma following James Trafford’s move to Leeds United. After an initial offer of €2m was rejected, City returned with a better bid that satisfied Marseille's demands. Rulli has consented to the transfer and is keen on competing in the Premier League. Remaining details with Rulli's representatives must be finalized before the move becomes official.
