Manchester City confirms squad number 37 for new signing Allan

Manchester City announced that Allan will wear the number 37 shirt following his transfer from Palmeiras. The 22-year-old winger finalized a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium earlier this week. His signing is part of a series of arrivals this summer under Enzo Maresca, including Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga, Gerónimo Rulli, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Iliman Ndiaye, and Enzo Fernández. Allan previously played in Brazil before making his move to the Premier League. The number 37 shirt was last held by Kayky during the 2021/22 season. Other former occupants of the jersey include Shay Given, Paul Dickov, and Robert Taylor.
