Manchester City inquiring about Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton
Summary

Manchester City has initiated an enquiry regarding Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace, according to The Athletic. Despite their interest, sources indicate that Crystal Palace is reluctant to allow the midfielder to leave during the current transfer window. Wharton, 22, has had a productive season, contributing one goal and seven assists in 53 matches last year. His contract runs until summer 2029, making a transfer challenging this summer. Analysts suggest Wharton could enhance City’s midfield, providing depth and competition for a starting role under manager Enzo Maresca.
