Manchester City is reportedly in a strong position to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille. Bouaddi has attracted interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, following a successful season with Lille and his contributions to Morocco in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Lille is open to selling Bouaddi for around £70 million, preferring a deal that includes a loan back to the club for another season. City is contemplating keeping Bouaddi, given his ability to play right back, especially since manager Enzo Maresca is seeking to bolster midfield options amid potential departures and an injury to Rodri. The club must now decide whether to pursue Bouaddi or alternative targets.
