Manchester City offers Marseille for goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli

Manchester City has submitted an offer to Olympique de Marseille for Gerónimo Rulli as they seek to strengthen their goalkeeping options. The 34-year-old Argentine, who previously had a brief spell with City in 2016, could serve as an understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma. Reports suggest that James Trafford is nearing a move to Leeds United, prompting City to pursue Rulli. Meanwhile, Marseille is managing talks for Rulli's departure while also discussing Jeffrey de Lange's transfer to FC Twente to avoid losing both senior goalkeepers simultaneously. Rulli has made 73 appearances for Marseille since joining in the summer of 2024.
