Manchester City is expected to submit an appeal today against the Premier League's guilty verdict regarding over 100 violations of financial regulations. This decision follows a judgment announced on Tuesday, which has garnered significant attention and prompted discussions about the implications for the club's ownership by Abu Dhabi. Prime Minister Andy Burnham expressed concerns over potential repercussions for City if wrongdoing is confirmed. Meanwhile, in Nations League action, England's match against Croatia is set to be played behind closed doors due to prior fan misconduct, contrasting an influx of local schoolchildren expected to attend. France is scheduled to host Italy later tonight, and Scotland will compete in North Macedonia on the same day.
