Manchester United advances talks to sign Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa

Manchester United is in advanced discussions to acquire midfielder Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa. The talks gained momentum following Belgium's exit from the World Cup, as United reportedly triggered Tielemans' £36m release clause. Since joining Villa in 2023, Tielemans has made 134 appearances and scored 10 goals. He was part of the team that won the Europa League last season, scoring in the final. While Aston Villa is reluctant to part with the player, the contract's conditions may compel them to consider the transfer.
