Manchester United close to finalizing Carlos Baleba transfer deal
Summary

Manchester United is in advanced discussions to sign midfielder Carlos Baleba from Brighton. An agreement is reportedly near, with United having submitted a £60 million offer, plus £5 million in add-ons. Despite a fee below Brighton's valuation, both clubs are engaged in finalizing the transfer. Baleba, who has expressed his desire to join United, is currently sidelined due to an ankle ligament injury sustained in pre-season. If the transfer proceeds, he could debut in the Manchester derby on September 13.
